You are listening to a new special from am1575news, France24 and Radio Centrale Milano, in podcasting and on the medium waves.
In addition to all the ongoing protests in France that the press is covering, we were able to verify the situation ourselves at 20:45 in Nice.
The situation is out of control, with tear gas fired all over the place. On the front page is an image of the Free store, one of the many devastated in the afternoon. On the streets, a mix of youths with covered faces and imperfect French, and ordinary girls wandering the city simply covering their mouths, as we did, to be able to breathe.
That’s all for now. From the Paris newsroom, this is Rachel Costa: this is am1575news, France24 and Radio Centrale Milano.
